The fast shutter speed project was very interesting and taught many students how the shutter speed effects an image. I took these photos to capture the feeling of motion. All of these photos were taken outside on a bright and sunny day. I had to use the sequence shooting to be able to capture the motion of the objects. Sequence shooting is when you hold down the shutter button and it takes many photos in rapid succession. The main struggle I had was not being able to press the shutter button quick enough to capture the motion of the object. I then used the sequence shooting one second before the action took place so I would have a chance of capturing the correct image.
Three things I learned include: A) how to adjust the shutter speed to capture a moving object in a photograph B) How to time the pressing of the shutter button to capture the picture in mid- action c) How to use objects in my environment to capture a creative photo Other uses for fast shutter speed- Taking pictures of the ocean and waves requires a fast shutter speed. Along with taking photos of all kinds of wildlife.
